Marcelo Bielsa has been an absolute breath of fresh air since his appointment at Leeds United.
Even if you’re not a Leeds fan it’s impossible not to like him, how many other managers do you know that make their team go litter picking and do hour-long presentations after spying allegations?
However, the reality is that he may not be at Leeds for that much longer.

The Argentine has had a tendency to leave jobs after a short time, quitting Marseille after just over a season and lasting just two days at Lazio.
It will be a sad day not only for the Yorkshire club, but for the wider footballing world if the 64-year-old ends up leaving Leeds and the Championship.
What’s been said then?
The Athletic’s Leeds United correspondent was speaking on the latest edition of The Phil Hay Show, and the hosts were discussing whether or not the Argentine enjoys management.
“Just to go back to you saying that if there were no press conferences we’d never hear from him, when he leaves Leeds I don’t expect to ever see him again or speak to him, I think if I walked past him in the street he would probably smile politely and just carry on,” Hay said (The Phil Hay Show 20/2/20 45:40).
“I don’t think there would be any chance of us stopping and chatting, I don’t think there’d be any of that.”
“Actually, I’m coming round to the conclusion that this could be his last job in football full stop, I sort of wonder whether or not there’s anywhere for him to go after this one emotionally and professionally he might feel like he’s done.”
Sad day for all of football
We’ve previously spoken about how this season could be legacy-defining for Marcelo Bielsa, and that is even more prevalent if this is indeed to be his final job in football.
It’ll be a sad day when the Argentine decides to step away from the beautiful game, he’s one of football’s great characters, and his presence will truly be missed, not only by Leeds fans but by everyone who loves the sport.
El Loco may not be the most successful manager of all time, failing to win a single major trophy in his career, but he is one of the most unique.
Chasing fans with a grenade and accidentally almost getting shot by police officers at a training ground are just a couple of remarkable stories about the South American.
There is no one quite like him.
In other news, Leeds could see a lot more from Helder Costa next season.
